Hastelloy C276 is a molybdenum, chromium, nickel and tungsten alloy. Hastelloy C276 offers high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. This alloy is resistant to stress corrosion cracking in reducing and oxidizing media. This alloy is intensely resistant to wet chloride gas and chlorine dioxide environments. These Hastelloy C276 maintain good corrosion resistance even in the welded form. Hastelloy C276 is a largely used alloy due to its corrosion resistance.
