Characteristics of the MP35N wires:
MP35N is a multi-phase alloy consisting of materials like Nickel, Cobalt, Chromium and Molybdenum with a unique range of properties. These properties are ultra-high-strength, toughness, biocompatibility and corrosion resistance.
MP35N products are manufactured by vacuum induction melting and arc re-melting. After that, strengthened by work hardening and the aging process that gives hardness up to 55 to 60 Rockwell C and strength levels as high as 260 to 300 KSI.
This non-magnetic nickel-cobalt-chromium-molybdenum Alloy also has exceptional resistance to sulfidation, high-temperature oxidation and hydrogen embrittlement.
As this MP35N material has a unique combination of properties, it has numerous application fields in a different range of industries. In addition, these wires can be able to handle and maintain its properties at temperatures up to 600°F.
