Hastelloy B2 is a solid solution alloy. Our Hastelloy B2 Pipes are well known for its chemical resistance. These pipes are used in high temperature and high pressures applications. It is also used in a welded condition in chemical processing applications. This alloy is nickel and molybdenum alloy. At concentration and temperature, company manufactured pipes show high resistance to hydrochloric acid. Hastelloy B2 protects pipes from corrosion in warm contaminated mineral acids, organic and inorganic chloride contaminated media. These Hastelloy B2 pipes are resistant to hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide solutions, formic and acetic acids, acetic anhydride, marine and brine solutions. Our pipes also resist pitting and crevice attack in ferric chloride test that is significantly used in the chemical process industry and pulp and paper applications. In the weld heat affected zone, this alloy resists the generation of grain-boundary carbide precipitates. In the welded condition, this alloy is preferable for most chemical process applications. This Hastelloy B2 is employed in the iron or copper medium in the presence of hydrochloric acid then occurs corrosion failure. These pipes show good resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. Our Hastelloy B2 pipes are used in chemical equipment, seawater equipment, and gas processing, etc.
