This Mar-M alloy 509 Round Bar has a maximum chemical composition as follows: Iron is 2%, nickel is 11%, and cobalt is balanced; these are the fundamental components. In addition to these elements, this material also contains 4 % Titanium, 25% Chromium, 7% Zirconium, Tantalum, and Tungsten is 4% to 8%. In comparison to the Grades Mar-M alloy 509, MAR 247 Round Bar is a modified alloy exhibiting outstanding resistance to grain boundary cracking during casting, advanced complex cored, thin-wall airfoils, and enhanced carbide microstructure, carbide stability, and ductility. Aircraft/ Aviation, combustor, and exhaust, turbine engines components, high power turbine blades & vanes, integrated rotors & stators of an indigenous aircraft’s jet fuel starter are typical applications for Mar-M 247.
