Nimonic 75 Bar, Wire are very cost-effective and long-lasting. These bars and wires are usable at high temperatures also. They are preferred because of their performance at extreme temperatures and pressure conditions. Nimonic 75 alloy Bar, Wires are used for sheet metal fabrication. These bars and wires can be useful in several industries. Common applications of Nimonic 75 Bar are aerospace, industrial furnace parts, pharmaceutical equipment, heat-treating equipment, nuclear engineering, offshore oil drilling, refineries, gas turbine engines and many more. Nimonic 75 is an alloy of Nickel and Chromium in the 80/20 ratio. Aluminum and titanium enhance the strength of the alloy, and Carbon, Iron, Copper, Silicon, and Manganese are also present in small amounts. It exhibits good corrosive properties. It is hardened by cold working.
Table of Content
It can be readily welded and fabricated. It is susceptible to cold deformation due to good ductility and flexibility. Rapid stain hardening causes high strength. Nimonic Bar, Wires have excellent corrosion resistance and heat resistance. Nimonic 75 Wire is an excellent choice for wire harness applications. This alloy is corrosion resistant and has excellent mechanical properties. It is available in a variety of sizes. This wire is available in cold worked and straightened super-elastic forms. The patented Dynamic Plateau Strength process from Fort Wayne Metals gives the wire its unique mechanical properties.
