Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Sheet and Plate is a high-strength and corrosion-resistant grade of stainless steel. It provides excellent toughness, ductility, and fatigue properties, making it suitable for structural applications in industrial, medical, and aerospace industries. The material is heat treatable up to 649°C (1200°F) for improved formability and machinability. Features include resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to 850°C (1562°F), good stress relaxation characteristics, excellent dimensional stability during fabrication and elevated temperature service, low magnetic permeability, non-hardenable by thermal treatment, superior notch impact strength over other austenitic stainless grades. Stainless Steel 17-7 PH Sheets and Plate can be utilized in applications such as aerospace parts, automotive components, medical implants and devices, industrial fasteners, and springs. It is also suitable for applications that require high strength at elevated temperatures.
