Commercially available Superelastic Nitinol thin sheet has been subjected to a wide range of thermomechanical treatments. The basic chemical composition of superelastic Nitinol is 50.8 at.% Ni and the balance of Ti. The various thermomechanical treatments used in the production process varied from batch to batch, but all samples had the same final thickness of 0.3 mm. Besides being laser cut, these samples also underwent tensile testing and DSC analysis.
